Custer State Park, SD

The night before we left the resort Micah had the opportunity to see elk up close. They were just down the rode from our cabin. Fun stuff!

The car ride. Micah decided to dump the chips he was eating...not too comfy. This was an ongoing battle on the trip. Maybe he won't dump food anymore. We'll see. :)

We spent about 10-15 minutes watching this deer eat, walk, itch his back, etc...

Our trip was filled with lots of fun each day. Micah's favorite days were probably the zoo and Custer State Park. He also loved playing with his cousins and seeing "My Grandpa" and "Grandma Jan" every single day. He woke up every morning wondering where they were. Mataya was a trooper going along with everything. Now we are home again and trying to get back into the "normal" routine. (If there is such a thing)

We enjoyed an afternoon at Garden of the Gods. We found a trail to walk on that we could take the stroller too. Micah didn't care too much for the stroller this afternoon. :)
